rich-get-richerは「金持ちはどんどん金持ちになる」という意味。貧富の二極化が進む時代を説明するには必須の単語かもしれない。

The rich get richer and the poor get poor. （金持ちはどんどん金持ちになり、貧乏人はどんどん貧乏になる）が元々の言い方。

ちなみにthe + 形容詞で、「〜な人」。これは便利な言い方。the weak で弱者、the strongで強者など、スピーキングや作文でも使いやすい。

ハイフンを使ったrich-get-richer は形容詞として使う。
